Are you getting the most out of your Daily Wellbeing Check In?
Are you getting the most out of your daily wellbeing check in?

If you’re interested in self care, you’ll know how important it is to have a daily wellbeing check in. It doesn’t have to take very long, just close your eyes and see where you’re at today. Then follow it up with shifting your day to suit your needs.

However, do you actually get around to it? Do you make space in your life for this tiny, positive habit?

It’s so easy to forget to check in with yourself, which is why I created the Daily Wellbeing Pad – a desk pad to remind you to check in with the wellbeing of your mind, body and spirit. Each section guides you to consider the key areas that will set up your day in the most positive, supportive way! And the great thing is, it takes no more than 5 minutes for fill in each morning. It’s a tiny task that can effect your day in a big way!

Let’s look at each section in more detail…

Mind

The wellbeing check in starts with your mind. It’s the first area that needs to get on board, to allow the other areas some space.

Today’s affirmation: Write your positive for the day here. This can reflect what you’re currently working through or can reflect what you intend to manifest at the moment. Write your affirmation in the present tense, focusing on the positive aspect of what you want to draw in.

Today’s intention: This is your overall intention for the day. Have a quick think about what you want to achieve and what kind of energy you want today to be filled with.

One step towards my big goal: Consider what your priorities are today and pick one goal you know you can achieve that will bring you one step closer to your vision. Progress is most doable in regular baby steps!

Body

Next we shift our attention to the body. What does your body need to thrive each day?

Heart pumping exercise: This could be anything from a brisk walk to a full on Zumba class! We know that getting the heart pumping for at least 20 mins each day has a massive effect on our physical and mental health, so planning this into your day will ensure you have more energy and headspace to have the positive day you intend.

My 5 veggies or fruit: The best way to be sure you’re getting the nutrients your body & mind need to feel energised and healthy is to plan them in the morning! Think about what you’ve got in the fridge and what you’ll likely be eating today. Commit to getting at least 5 veggies & fruit in every day by writing them down here.

8 waters: A fun way to track how many waters you’re having is to colour in the little glass illustrations every time you have a full glug! Keep the Daily Wellbeing Pad on your desk or in your bag to remind you of this super important aspect of your physical wellbeing. Eliminate toxins & get those bodily systems working like a dream with the free & pure resource we all have access to!

Spirit

Finally, the Daily Wellbeing Pad guides you to check in with your Spirit to cover the full aspects of your being.

I’m grateful for: Express your gratitude for something everyday to feel uplifted. Try and mix it up every day and think of different things to be grateful for, so you keep the appreciate experience alive. Consider what weird / wonderful / tiny thing you’re grateful for.

3 deeps breaths for morning, afternoon & evening: This is such a calming practice. It really puts a stop to a racing heart or mind and brings you back to the present moment, where all your power is. Giving yourself this precious minute 3 times a day will bring much more peace and clarity to your day.

Today’s inner guidance: After you’ve done your 3 morning breaths, you’ll be in the perfect state to bring through your inner guidance for the day. Try asking yourself: what do I need to know / do / focus on today in order to feel most at content? Every time you come back to your Daily Wellbeing Pad to fill in your waters, remind yourself what your inner guidance was for the day.
