This is a bit of a glum opening but… we’re all suffering in one way or another. Some obviously much more acutely than others. But A Course In Miracles says there’s no order of difficulty in miracles, meaning it’s no harder to forgive a chunk of really intense suffering, like grief, than a tiny stab of suffering, like dropping your sandwich.
This means you’re just as likely to dissolve the suffering of grief by practicing ACIM, as you are to dissolve the disappointment of dropping your sandwich.
A Course In Miracles offers a unique perspective on healing and personal transformation, focusing on shifting one’s perception and recognising the inherent peace that lies beyond the illusions of the world. It encourages forgiveness as a means to release ourselves from the burden of grievances and find true happiness.
Since I started studying & applying ACIM to my life, it has brought me incredible amounts of relief. ACIM provides you with a tool to dissolve any uncomfortable thought or sensation. Whether that might be the feeling of anger when a driver cuts you up, or feeling absolutely broken from heartbreak.
Here I’m sharing my favourite relieving quotes from A Course In Miracles. May they bring relief to your day and inspire a moment of forgiveness. True forgiveness – not the puny worldly kind!
“Every situation properly perceived, becomes an opportunity to heal.”
“Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.”
“Discomfort is aroused only to bring the need for correction into awareness.”
“The kind of rest you seek, you will find not from sleeping but from waking.”
“Teach only love, for that is what you are.”
“In quietness are all things answered”
“Forgiveness is the key to happiness.”
“The Holy Spirit sees the world as a teaching device for bringing you home.”
“The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still.”
“There is an ancient peace you carry in your heart and have not lost.”
If you’d like some support in understanding and applying the concepts of ACIM, I’d love you to check out my course Miracle Practice.
