Here’s The Happi Empire timeline so far… 😀
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]Feb 2011:Â The Happi Empire website goes live and the freshly re-designed Happi Cards deck is launched, after 3 years of planning and procrastination.[/box]
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]March 2011: The Happi Empire blog (you’re reading it!) went live with the intention of becoming a huge encyclopaedia of modern spiritual advice. Happi Cards could be found in 3 shops in Manly, Noosa and St Leonards.[/box]
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]April 2011: Travelled up the east coast of Australia in a campervan, for 2 weeks, selling Happi Cards into shops and sheltering from the constant rain! Happi Cards found new homes in Byron, Lennox Head and Port Macquarie.[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]June 2011:Â Greetings cards and Inspiring Wallet Cards took a seat on the shelf at the happi shop[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]August 2011: The first eBook, The Essential Guide to Happi Citizenship, was released to lucky people that sign up to the newsletter, via the orange boxes on the right. R u signed up?[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]Oct 2011: A3 Prints were released into the wild (and also into the online shop)[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]Nov 2011: The Happi Empire did it’s first market stall at Bondi Markets, Sydney, and got a little addicted, so did one at Narrabeen and another at Bondi before the end of the month! Gratitude Journals were born this month too (limited first run).[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]Dec 2011: The Happi Empire had a very Happi Xmas, with a market stall at Manly. 10 shops in Aus and 3 shops in UK were selling the Happi Cards deck for Xmas. This is the month I left my ‘old’ life behind and committed full time to working on The Happi Empire and running my graphic design biz, HappiFran.[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]Jan 2012:Â The Happi Empire website design was refreshed on the magnificent platform of WordPress (eCommerce with WooCommerce). Social hang outs (Facebook & Twitter) gained momentum. The first ‘Tips from a Happi Citizen’ were published on the blog.[/box]
[box style=”rounded”]Feb 2012:Â The Happi Empire signed a deal with Brumby Books & Music, to distribute Happi Products (starting with Happi Cards) around Australia and New Zealand! Oh, the possibilites…[/box]
I look forward to another round up this time next year… I wonder where we’ll be? Answers on a postcard! Or reply below, seeing as this is 2012 and we have the internets on our side 🙂
