We always have the power to shift our perspective – even if it’s just a little bit.
If you’re feeling glum, know that you CAN be happy again, you just need a series of little shifts to take place. By asking your innate limitless wisdom: ‘What’s the next step to feeling happier?”, you are activating a powerful perspective shift.
When you’re feeling down, but are ready to start moving out of where you are to a happier place, start with actioning a little shift. Then continue to action the tiny bits of intuition, which are often so minute or ‘normal’ sounding, that we miss them (calling a friend, having a bath, going for a walk).
Follow what your inner guidance comes up with and you will start moving towards the lighter feelings. Continue throughout the day to ask this question, “What’s the next step to feeling happier?”. A bath? OK done. A walk? OK done. Phoning that friend? OK done 🙂
Feeling depressed is a feeling of stuck-ness. You need to start moving again, in anyway that you can.
Everything always happens in a journey format – it’s when the little steps are all added together that the big shifts happen. When you look closely, it’s the little shifts that are the real magic workers.
